The orchestra was founded in 1937. The first conductor of the orchestra was N. Gorchakov. In 1948, A. Kozlovsky took his place. In 1956-1963, the orchestra was directed by a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory Narimon Alimov, from 1963 to 1997 - People's Artist of Uzbekistan Zakhid Khaknazarov.
The main task of the orchestra is to perform symphonic works by Uzbek composers. At the same time, the collective's repertoire also includes works by composers from other countries.
It should be noted the special contribution of Alexey Kozlovsky, Mardon Nasimov, Nabi Khalilov, Kuvonch Usmonov and Zokhid Khaknazarov to the formation and creative activity of the orchestra.
In 1967 the orchestra toured in the republics of the former Soviet Union, in 1968 it won the competition for symphony orchestras of the Union republics.
In 1986, the National Symphony Orchestra was awarded the title of "Honored collective of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Born in St. Petersburg in 2002, Ivan Bessonov has been playing the piano since the age of six. In 2015, he made his debut as a film composer. At the moment, Ivan continues his studies at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory Central Music School in Moscow (Valeriy Piasetsky class).
In 2016, Ivan gave his first solo recital at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. He has also performed with the Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra and St. Petersburg Chapel Symphony Orchestra and took part in various music festivals touring the Russian cities.

Elisey was born in the Russian city of Stavropol and started playing piano at the age of four.
He is currently studying at the Central School of Music of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire under Honoured Artist, Natalia Trull.

Zahar Vnutskih was born in the Russian city of Perm in 2010.
He started studying piano at the age of 4 at the Polaznenskaya School of Arts under Zenkova Elena Nikolaevna.
Since 2018 he has continued his studies at the Central School of Music of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory under Ryabova Daria Anatolievna.

Ivaylo Vassilev was born in 2007 in Sofia. He showed his interest for classical music and piano at a very early age. He studies piano in the National School of Music in Sofia: from 2014 to 2019 his pedagogue was Emilia Kaneva and since 2019 he continues with prof. d-r Borislava Taneva.
He has about 30 prizes from international competitions in Bulgaria, Russia, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Czechia, Greece, Germany, Kazakhstan, France, Finland, UK, most of them are first prizes and Grand-Pix. The most significant of them are: “Liszt-Bartok”, Sofia, 2020 (I prize); “Schumann-Brahms”, Plovdiv, 2020 (Grand-prix); “La Note Celeste”, Paris, 2020 (I prize); “Nutcracker”, Moscow 2018 (Golden Nutcracker - winner); "De Bach au Jazz", Athens, 2018 (Grand Prix); “Anna Artobolevskaya”, Moscow, 2017 (I prize);"Astana Piano Passion 2017" (Diplomant); "Münchner Klavierpodium”, Munich, 2016 (Winner). In 2020 he participated in his first composition competition “Artistes en Herbe", Luxembourg and was awarded with a special prize.
He has participated in several international piano festivals, like Wunderkinder 2018 (Italy), Piano Extravaganza (Sofia), Musical Olympus (St. Petersburg, 2019), Moscow Meets Friends (Moscow, 2019), South Bohemian Festival (Czechia, 2020, as finalist in “Concertino Praga 2020” competition).

Teo Gertler has recently turned 12, but he is already a laureate of numerous major international competitions. In his 8 years of age and debut appearance, he won the second prize in the 17th International Competition of Young Violinists „Nutcracker“ in Moscow in 2016. In 2018 Teo has been awarded Grand Prix at the XIV. International Competition of Young Violinists in Honour of Karol Lipinski and Henryk Wieniawski in Lublin, Poland in the junior category (under age 17) and more recently in 2019 a Grand Prix in the 9th International Competition for Young Violinists in Novosibirsk, Russia.
Teo has performed in number of big stage solo concerts with world’s finest orchestras, including Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer, Moscow Academic Orchestra conducted by Ayyub Guliyev, Hungarian Radio Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Adam Medveczky, or Alba Regia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gergely Duboczky.
As a soloist Teo was also invited to perform at festivals in several occasions. In 2019, he performed at the Musical Olympus Festival with St. Petersburg State Academic Capella conducted by Alexander Chernushenko, or at the closing gala concert of Interlaken Classics Festival with Zakhar Bron Festival Orchestra, conducted by Zakhar Bron. Besides multiple recitals and appearances across Europe, Teo performed as a soloist at multiple big stages as for instance in Rudolfinum in Prague, Philharmonic Hall Brno, Berliner Dome, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Kursaal in Interlaken, St Petersburg State Capella Hall, Lincoln Center in New York and many others. His engagements also include a vivid cooperation with Sinfonietta Zilina and conductor Leoš Svárovský.

Currently a student at Choate Rosemary Hall and Juilliard Pre-College, Paloma So has recently appeared at the Beijing Music Festival performing the monumental Kreutzer Sonata in a concert series celebrating Beethoven’s anniversary. She has been studying in the class of Prof. Zakhar Bron since the age of nine at his Academy in Interlaken, Switzerland. In September 2019, she commenced her studies with Prof. Catherine Cho and Prof. Donald Weilerstein at Juilliard.
In February 2014, Paloma SO made her debut with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra playing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5. Later that year, she was invited to perform as a soloist at the G20 Gala Dinner in Australia. In 2015, Paloma won Second Prize in the 17-and-below age group, at the prestigious 13th International Wieniawski Competition for Young Violinists in Lublin, Poland.
